И по се́мъ ви́дѣхъ четы́ри А́нгелы стоя́щыя на четы́рехъ у́глѣхъ земли́, держа́щыя четы́ри вѣ́тры зе́мскiя, да не ды́шетъ вѣ́тръ на зе́млю, ни на мо́ре, ни на вся́ко дре́во.

И ви́дѣхъ и́наго А́нгела восходя́ща от восхо́да со́лнца, иму́ща печа́ть Бо́га жива́го. И возопи́ гла́сомъ ве́лiимъ къ четы́ремъ А́нгеломъ, и́мже дано́ бы́сть вреди́ти зе́млю и мо́ре, глаго́ля:

И возопи́ша гла́сомъ ве́лiимъ, глаго́люще: спасе́нiе сѣдя́щему на престо́лѣ Бо́гу на́шему и А́гнцу.

И вси́ А́нгели стоя́ху о́крестъ престо́ла и ста́рецъ и четы́рехъ живо́тныхъ: и падо́ша на лицы́ предъ престо́ломъ и поклони́шася Бо́гу,

глаго́люще: ами́нь: благослове́нiе и сла́ва, и прему́дрость и хвала́, и че́сть и си́ла и крѣ́пость Бо́гу на́шему во вѣ́ки вѣко́въ. Ами́нь.

И после сего видел я четырех Ангелов, стоящих на четырех углах земли, держащих четыре ветра земли, чтобы не дул ветер ни на землю, ни на море, ни на какое дерево.

И видел я иного Ангела, восходящего от востока солнца и имеющего печать Бога живаго. И воскликнул он громким голосом к четырем Ангелам, которым дано вредить земле и морю, говоря:

После сего взглянул я, и вот, великое множество людей, которого никто не мог перечесть, из всех племен и колен, и народов и языков, стояло пред престолом и пред Агнцем в белых одеждах и с пальмовыми ветвями в руках своих.

И восклицали громким голосом, говоря: спасение Богу нашему, сидящему на престоле, и Агнцу!

И все Ангелы стояли вокруг престола и старцев и четырех животных, и пали перед престолом на лица свои, и поклонились Богу,

говоря: аминь! благословение и слава, и премудрость и благодарение, и честь и сила и крепость Богу нашему во веки веков! Аминь.

И, начав речь, один из старцев спросил меня: сии облеченные в белые одежды кто, и откуда пришли?

Я сказал ему: ты знаешь, господин. И он сказал мне: это те, которые пришли от великой скорби; они омыли одежды свои и убелили одежды свои Кровию Агнца.

За это они пребывают ныне перед престолом Бога и служат Ему день и ночь в храме Его, и Сидящий на престоле будет обитать в них.

Они не будут уже ни алкать, ни жаждать, и не будет палить их солнце и никакой зной:

ибо Агнец, Который среди престола, будет пасти их и водить их на живые источники вод; и отрет Бог всякую слезу с очей их.

Après cela, je vis quatre anges debout aux quatre coins de la terre; ils retenaient les quatre vents de la terre, afin qu'il ne soufflât point de vent sur la terre, ni sur la mer, ni sur aucun arbre.

Et je vis un autre ange, qui montait du côté du soleil levant, et qui tenait le sceau du Dieu vivant; il cria d'une voix forte aux quatre anges à qui il avait été donné de faire du mal à la terre et à la mer, et il dit:

Ne faites point de mal à la terre, ni à la mer, ni aux arbres, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons marqué du sceau le front des serviteurs de notre Dieu.

Et j'entendis le nombre de ceux qui avaient été marqués du sceau, cent quarante-quatre mille, de toutes les tribus des fils d'Israël:

Je lui dis: Mon seigneur, tu le sais. Et il me dit: Ce sont ceux qui viennent de la grande tribulation; ils ont lavé leurs robes, et ils les ont blanchies dans le sang de l'agneau.

C'est pour cela qu'ils sont devant le trône de Dieu, et le servent jour et nuit dans son temple. Celui qui est assis sur le trône dressera sa tente sur eux;

ils n'auront plus faim, ils n'auront plus soif, et le soleil ne les frappera point, ni aucune chaleur.

Car l'agneau qui est au milieu du trône les paîtra et les conduira aux sources des eaux de la vie, et Dieu essuiera toute larme de leurs yeux.

After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.

Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,

saying, «Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.»

And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;

of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;

of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;

of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

and crying out with a loud voice, saying, «Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!»

All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

saying: «Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.»

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, «Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?»

And I said to him, «Sir, you know.» So he said to me, «These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;

for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.»
