Also you shall make its pans to receive its ashes, and its shovels and its basins and its forks and its firepans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze.

You shall make a grate for it, a network of bronze; and on the network you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners.

You shall put it under the rim of the altar beneath, that the network may be midway up the altar.

And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze.

The poles shall be put in the rings, and the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar to bear it.

You shall make it hollow with boards; as it was shown you on the mountain, so shall they make it.

«You shall also make the court of the tabernacle. For the south side there shall be hangings for the court made of fine woven linen, one hundred cubits long for one side.

And its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets shall be bronze. The hooks of the pillars and their bands shall be silver.

Likewise along the length of the north side there shall be hangings one hundred cubits long, with its twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of bronze, and the hooks of the pillars and their bands of silver.

The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits, made of fine woven linen, and its sockets of bronze.

All the utensils of the tabernacle for all its service, all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.

«And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.

In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the LORD. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.

»Weiter lass aus Akazienholz einen Altar machen, zweieinhalb Meter lang und ebenso breit und eineinhalb Meter hoch.

An seinen oberen Ecken sollen vier Hörner aufragen, die mit dem übrigen Altar aus einem Stück gefertigt sind. Der ganze Altar soll mit Bronzeblech beschlagen werden.

Lass auch alle Geräte herstellen, die beim Opferdienst gebraucht werden, die Schalen zum Auffangen des Blutes, die Fleischgabeln und Kohlenbecken, die Schaufeln und Kübel zum Beseitigen der Asche. Alle diese Geräte sollen aus Bronze sein.

Mache für den Altar einen gitterförmigen Bronzerahmen, der auf seinen vier Seiten vom Boden bis zur halben Höhe reicht und dort auf die Einfassung trifft, die außen rings um den Altar läuft. An den vier Ecken dieses Rahmens wird je ein bronzener Ring angebracht.

Weiter lässt du zwei Stangen aus Akazienholz machen und mit Bronze beschlagen.

Für den Transport des Altars werden sie durch die Ringe gesteckt.

Der Altar soll nicht aus massivem Holz bestehen, sondern aus Brettern zusammengefügt werden, sodass er innen hohl ist. Lass ihn genauso machen, wie ich es dir gezeigt habe.«

»Weiter sollst du den Vorhof rings um meine Wohnung mit einer Abgrenzung umgeben. Auf der Südseite werden auf einer Länge von 50 Metern leinene Planen angebracht; sie werden von zwanzig Holzsäulen gehalten, die auf Sockeln aus Bronze stehen; die Haken und Stangen zum Aufhängen der Planen sind aus Silber.

Genauso wird auf der Nordseite verfahren, ebenfalls auf einer Länge von 50 Metern.

Auf der Westseite ist der Vorhof 25 Meter breit; die leinenen Planen werden von zehn Säulen auf bronzenen Sockeln gehalten.

Auf der Eingangsseite im Osten ist der Vorhof ebenfalls 25 Meter breit.

Rechts und links vom Eingang sind zwischen je drei Säulen jeweils siebeneinhalb Meter Planen angebracht.

Der Eingang in der Mitte ist 10 Meter breit. Der Vorhang am Eingang soll aus gezwirntem Leinen sein, in das blaue, rote und karmesinrote Wollfäden eingewebt sind; er wird an vier Säulen aufgehängt.

Alle Säulen rings um den Vorhof sollen auf bronzenen Sockeln stehen; die Tücher werden an Haken und Stangen aus Silber aufgehängt.

Der ganze Vorhof ist also 50 Meter lang und 25 Meter breit. Die Höhe der Abgrenzung soll zweieinhalb Meter betragen.

Wie die Geräte, die für den Dienst am Heiligtum gebraucht werden, sollen auch die Pflöcke, die das Zelt und die Abgrenzung des Vorhofs halten, aus Bronze sein.«

Der HERR sagte zu Mose: »Die Israeliten sollen dir reines Öl aus gepressten Oliven geben, damit es stets für die Lampe im Heiligtum zur Verfügung steht.

Aaron und seine Söhne sollen dafür sorgen, dass die Lampe im Heiligen Zelt vom Abend bis zum Morgen leuchtet. Sie hat ihren Platz vor dem Vorhang, der die Lade mit dem Bundesgesetz verdeckt. Auch in allen kommenden Generationen sind die Israeliten zu dieser Abgabe verpflichtet.«
