In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was captured, on the very same day the hand of the LORD was upon me; and He took me there.
In the visions of God He took me into the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain; on it toward the south was something like the structure of a city.
He took me there, and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze. He had a line of flax and a measuring rod in his hand, and he stood in the gateway.
And the man said to me, «Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears, and fix your mind on everything I show you; for you were brought here so that I might show them to you. Declare to the house of Israel everything you see.»
Now there was a wall all around the outside of the temple. In the mańs hand was a measuring rod six cubits long, each being a cubit and a handbreadth; and he measured the width of the wall structure, one rod; and the height, one rod.
Then he went to the gateway which faced east; and he went up its stairs and measured the threshold of the gateway, which was one rod wide, and the other threshold was one rod wide.
Each gate chamber was one rod long and one rod wide; between the gate chambers was a space of five cubits; and the threshold of the gateway by the vestibule of the inside gate was one rod.
He also measured the vestibule of the inside gate, one rod.
Then he measured the vestibule of the gateway, eight cubits; and the gateposts, two cubits. The vestibule of the gate was on the inside.
In the eastern gateway were three gate chambers on one side and three on the other; the three were all the same size; also the gateposts were of the same size on this side and that side.
He measured the width of the entrance to the gateway, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.
There was a space in front of the gate chambers, one cubit on this side and one cubit on that side; the gate chambers were six cubits on this side and six cubits on that side.
Then he measured the gateway from the roof of one gate chamber to the roof of the other; the width was twenty-five cubits, as door faces door.
He measured the gateposts, sixty cubits high, and the court all around the gateway extended to the gatepost.
From the front of the entrance gate to the front of the vestibule of the inner gate was fifty cubits.
There were beveled window frames in the gate chambers and in their intervening archways on the inside of the gateway all around, and likewise in the vestibules. There were windows all around on the inside. And on each gatepost were palm trees.
Then he brought me into the outer court; and there were chambers and a pavement made all around the court; thirty chambers faced the pavement.
The pavement was by the side of the gateways, corresponding to the length of the gateways; this was the lower pavement.
Then he measured the width from the front of the lower gateway to the front of the inner court exterior, one hundred cubits toward the east and the north.
On the outer court was also a gateway facing north, and he measured its length and its width.
Its gate chambers, three on this side and three on that side, its gateposts and its archways, had the same measurements as the first gate; its length was fifty cubits and its width twenty-five cubits.
Its windows and those of its archways, and also its palm trees, had the same measurements as the gateway facing east; it was ascended by seven steps, and its archway was in front of it.
A gate of the inner court was opposite the northern gateway, just as the eastern gateway; and he measured from gateway to gateway, one hundred cubits.
After that he brought me toward the south, and there a gateway was facing south; and he measured its gateposts and archways according to these same measurements.
There were windows in it and in its archways all around like those windows; its length was fifty cubits and its width twenty-five cubits.
Seven steps led up to it, and its archway was in front of them; and it had palm trees on its gateposts, one on this side and one on that side.
There was also a gateway on the inner court, facing south; and he measured from gateway to gateway toward the south, one hundred cubits.
Then he brought me to the inner court through the southern gateway; he measured the southern gateway according to these same measurements.
Also its gate chambers, its gateposts, and its archways were according to these same measurements; there were windows in it and in its archways all around; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
There were archways all around, twenty-five cubits long and five cubits wide.
Its archways faced the outer court, palm trees were on its gateposts, and going up to it were eight steps.
And he brought me into the inner court facing east; he measured the gateway according to these same measurements.
Also its gate chambers, its gateposts, and its archways were according to these same measurements; and there were windows in it and in its archways all around; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
Its archways faced the outer court, and palm trees were on its gateposts on this side and on that side; and going up to it were eight steps.
Then he brought me to the north gateway and measured it according to these same measurements--
also its gate chambers, its gateposts, and its archways. It had windows all around; its length was fifty cubits and its width twenty-five cubits.

There was a chamber and its entrance by the gateposts of the gateway, where they washed the burnt offering.
In the vestibule of the gateway were two tables on this side and two tables on that side, on which to slay the burnt offering, the sin offering, and the trespass offering.
At the outer side of the vestibule, as one goes up to the entrance of the northern gateway, were two tables; and on the other side of the vestibule of the gateway were two tables.
Four tables were on this side and four tables on that side, by the side of the gateway, eight tables on which they slaughtered the sacrifices.
There were also four tables of hewn stone for the burnt offering, one cubit and a half long, one cubit and a half wide, and one cubit high; on these they laid the instruments with which they slaughtered the burnt offering and the sacrifice.
Inside were hooks, a handbreadth wide, fastened all around; and the flesh of the sacrifices was on the tables.
Outside the inner gate were the chambers for the singers in the inner court, one facing south at the side of the northern gateway, and the other facing north at the side of the southern gateway.
Then he said to me, «This chamber which faces south is for the priests who have charge of the temple.
The chamber which faces north is for the priests who have charge of the altar; these are the sons of Zadok, from the sons of Levi, who come near the LORD to minister to Him.»
And he measured the court, one hundred cubits long and one hundred cubits wide, foursquare. The altar was in front of the temple.
Then he brought me to the vestibule of the temple and measured the doorposts of the vestibule, five cubits on this side and five cubits on that side; and the width of the gateway was three cubits on this side and three cubits on that side.
The length of the vestibule was twenty cubits, and the width eleven cubits; and by the steps which led up to it there were pillars by the doorposts, one on this side and another on that side.

И врата́ двору́ вну́треннему зря́щая ко врато́мъ сѣ́вернымъ, я́коже врата́ зря́щая на восто́къ: и размѣ́ри дво́ръ от вра́тъ до вра́тъ лакте́й сто́.
И веде́ мя къ ю́гу, и се́, врата́ зря́щая на ю́гъ, и размѣ́ри я́, и ѳее́ {черто́ги и́хъ}, и аиле́ва {подво́и и́хъ}, и Ела́мы {притво́ры и́хъ}, по тѣ́мжде мѣ́рамъ.
И око́нца и́хъ и Ела́мы о́крестъ я́коже и око́нца Ела́гъ {о́ныя}, пяти́десяти лакте́й долгота́ и́хъ, а широта́ дву́десяти и пяти́ лакте́й,

И рече́ ко мнѣ́: прегра́да сiя́, я́же зри́тъ на ю́гъ, жерце́мъ е́сть, и́же стрегу́тъ стражбу́ хра́ма:
а прегра́да, я́же зри́тъ къ сѣ́веру, жерце́мъ е́сть стрегу́щымъ стра́жу тре́бника: ті́и су́ть сы́нове саду́ковы, приступа́ющiи от Леві́а ко Го́сподеви, е́же служи́ти ему́.
И размѣ́ри дво́ръ ста́ лакте́й въ долготу́ и въ широту́ ста́ лакте́й, на четы́ри страны́ его́, и тре́бникъ пря́мо хра́му.
И введе́ мя во Ела́мъ {притво́ръ} хра́ма: и размѣ́ри аи́лъ {подво́и} Ела́ма пяти́ лакте́й широту́ о сiю́ страну́, пяти́ же лакте́й объ ону́, широта́ же две́рная четырехна́десяти лакте́й, и бока́ две́рная Ела́ма три́ ла́кти о сiю́ страну́, три́ же объ ону́.

La vingt-cinquième année de notre captivité, au commencement de l'année, le dixième jour du mois, quatorze ans après la ruine de la ville, en ce même jour, la main de l'Éternel fut sur moi, et il me transporta dans le pays d'Israël.
Il m'y transporta, dans des visions divines, et me déposa sur une montagne très élevée, où se trouvait au midi comme une ville construite.
Il me conduisit là; et voici, il y avait un homme dont l'aspect était comme l'aspect de l'airain; il avait dans la main un cordeau de lin et une canne pour mesurer, et il se tenait à la porte.
Cet homme me dit: Fils de l'homme, regarde de tes yeux, et écoute de tes oreilles! Applique ton attention à toutes les choses que je te montrerai, car tu as été amené ici afin que je te les montre. Fais connaître à la maison d'Israël tout ce que tu verras.
Voici, un mur extérieur entourait la maison de tous côtés. Dans la main de l'homme était une canne de six coudées pour mesurer, chaque coudée ayant un palme de plus que la coudée ordinaire. Il mesura la largeur du mur, qui était d'une canne, et la hauteur, qui était d'une canne.
Il alla vers la porte orientale, et il en monta les degrés. Il mesura le seuil de la porte, qui avait une canne en largeur, et l'autre seuil, qui avait une canne en largeur.
Chaque chambre était longue d'une canne, et large d'une canne. Il y avait entre les chambres un espace de cinq coudées. Le seuil de la porte, près du vestibule de la porte, à l'intérieur, avait une canne.

Il compta soixante coudées pour les poteaux, près desquels était une cour, autour de la porte.
L'espace entre la porte d'entrée et le vestibule de la porte intérieure était de cinquante coudées.
Il y avait des fenêtres grillées aux chambres et à leurs poteaux à l'intérieur de la porte tout autour; il y avait aussi des fenêtres dans les vestibules tout autour intérieurement; des palmes étaient sculptées sur les poteaux.
Il me conduisit dans le parvis extérieur, où se trouvaient des chambres et un pavé tout autour; il y avait trente chambres sur ce pavé.
Le pavé était au côté des portes, et répondait à la longueur des portes; c'était le pavé inférieur.
Il mesura la largeur depuis la porte d'en bas jusqu'au parvis intérieur en dehors; il y avait cent coudées, à l'orient et au septentrion.
Il mesura la longueur et la largeur de la porte septentrionale du parvis extérieur.
Ses chambres, au nombre de trois d'un côté et de trois de l'autre, ses poteaux et ses vestibules, avaient la même mesure que la première porte, cinquante coudées en longueur et vingt-cinq coudées en largeur.
Ses fenêtres, son vestibule, ses palmes, avaient la même mesure que la porte orientale; on y montait par sept degrés, devant lesquels était son vestibule.
Il y avait une porte au parvis intérieur, vis-à-vis de la porte septentrionale et vis-à-vis de la porte orientale; il mesura d'une porte à l'autre cent coudées.
Il me conduisit du côté du midi, où se trouvait la porte méridionale. Il en mesura les poteaux et les vestibules, qui avaient la même mesure.
Cette porte et ses vestibules avaient des fenêtres tout autour, comme les autres fenêtres, cinquante coudées en longueur et vingt-cinq coudées en largeur.
On y montait par sept degrés, devant lesquels était son vestibule; il y avait de chaque côté des palmes sur ses poteaux.
Le parvis intérieur avait une porte du côté du midi; il mesura d'une porte à l'autre au midi cent coudées.

Ses chambres, ses poteaux et ses vestibules, avaient la même mesure. Cette porte et ses vestibules avaient des fenêtres tout autour, cinquante coudées en longueur et vingt-cinq coudées en largeur.
Ses vestibules aboutissaient au parvis extérieur; il y avait de chaque côté des palmes sur ses poteaux, et huit degrés pour y monter.

Il y avait une chambre qui s'ouvrait vers les poteaux des portes, et où l'on devait laver les holocaustes.
Dans le vestibule de la porte se trouvaient de chaque côté deux tables, sur lesquelles on devait égorger l'holocauste, le sacrifice d'expiation et le sacrifice de culpabilité.
A l'un des côtés extérieurs par où l'on montait, à l'entrée de la porte septentrionale, il y avait deux tables; et à l'autre côté, vers le vestibule de la porte, il y avait deux tables.
Il se trouvait ainsi, aux côtés de la porte, quatre tables d'une part et quatre tables de l'autre, en tout huit tables, sur lesquelles on devait égorger les victimes.
Il y avait encore pour les holocaustes quatre tables en pierres de taille, longues d'une coudée et demie, larges d'une coudée et demie, et hautes d'une coudée; on devait mettre sur ces tables les instruments avec lesquels on égorgeait les victimes pour les holocaustes et pour les autres sacrifices.
Des rebords de quatre doigts étaient adaptés à la maison tout autour; et la chair des sacrifices devait être mise sur les tables.
En dehors de la porte intérieure il y avait des chambres pour les chantres, dans le parvis intérieur: l'une était à côté de la porte septentrionale et avait la face au midi, l'autre était à côté de la porte orientale et avait la face au septentrion.
Il me dit: Cette chambre, dont la face est au midi, est pour les sacrificateurs qui ont la garde de la maison;
et la chambre dont la face est au septentrion est pour les sacrificateurs qui ont la garde de l'autel. Ce sont les fils de Tsadok, qui, parmi les fils de Lévi, s'approchent de l'Éternel pour le servir.
Il mesura le parvis, qui avait cent coudées de longueur et cent coudées de largeur, en carré. L'autel était devant la maison.
Il me conduisit dans le vestibule de la maison. Il mesura les poteaux du vestibule, et trouva cinq coudées d'un côté et cinq coudées de l'autre. La largeur de la porte était de trois coudées d'un côté et de trois coudées de l'autre.
Le vestibule avait une longueur de vingt coudées et une largeur de onze coudées; on y montait par des degrés. Il y avait des colonnes près des poteaux, l'une d'un côté, et l'autre de l'autre.

1 Видение города на весьма высокой горе. 5 Измерение стены. 6 Ворота на восток. 17 Дворы, комнаты, каменный помост, ворота и притворы.
В двадцать пятом году по переселении нашем, в начале года, в десятый день месяца, в четырнадцатом году по разрушении города, в тот самый день была на мне рука Господа, и Он повел меня туда.
В видениях Божиих привел Он меня в землю Израилеву и поставил меня на весьма высокой горе, и на ней, с южной стороны, были как бы городские здания;
и привел меня туда. И вот муж, которого вид как бы вид блестящей меди, и льняная вервь в руке его и трость измерения, и стоял он у ворот.
И сказал мне этот муж: «сын человеческий! смотри глазами твоими и слушай ушами твоими, и прилагай сердце твое ко всему, что я буду показывать тебе, ибо ты для того и приведен сюда, чтоб я показал тебе это; все, что увидишь, возвести дому Израилеву».
И вот, вне храма стена со всех сторон его, и в руке того мужа трость измерения в шесть локтей, считая каждый локоть в локоть с ладонью; и намерил он в этом здании одну трость толщины и одну трость вышины.
Потом пошел к воротам, обращенным лицом к востоку, и взошел по ступеням их, и нашел меры в одном пороге ворот одну трость ширины и в другом пороге одну трость ширины.
И в каждой боковой комнате одна трость длины и одна трость ширины, а между комнатами пять локтей, и в пороге ворот у притвора ворот внутри одна же трость.
И смерил он в притворе ворот внутри одну трость,
а в притворе у ворот намерил восемь локтей и два локтя в столбах. Этот притвор у ворот со стороны храма.
Боковых комнат у восточных ворот три – с одной стороны и три – с другой; одна мера во всех трех и одна мера в столбах с той и другой стороны.
Ширины в отверстии ворот он намерил десять локтей, а длины ворот тринадцать локтей.
А перед комнатами выступ в один локоть, и в один же локоть с другой стороны выступ; эти комнаты с одной стороны имели шесть локтей и шесть же локтей с другой стороны.
Потом намерил он в воротах от крыши одной комнаты до крыши другой двадцать пять локтей ширины; дверь была против двери.
А в столбах он насчитал шестьдесят локтей, в каждом столбе около двора и у ворот,
и от передней стороны входа в ворота до передней стороны внутренних ворот пятьдесят локтей.
Решетчатые окна были и в боковых комнатах и в столбах их, внутрь ворот кругом, также и в притворах окна были кругом на внутреннюю сторону, и на столбах – пальмы.
И привел он меня на внешний двор, и вот там комнаты, и каменный помост кругом двора был сделан; тридцать комнат на том помосте.
И помост этот был по бокам ворот, соответственно длине ворот; этот помост был ниже.
И намерил он в ширину от нижних ворот до внешнего края внутреннего двора сто локтей, к востоку и к северу.
Он измерил также длину и ширину ворот внешнего двора, обращенных лицом к северу,
и боковые комнаты при них, три с одной стороны и три с другой; и столбы их, и выступы их были такой же меры, как у прежних ворот: длина их пятьдесят локтей, а ширина двадцать пять локтей.
И окна их, и выступы их, и пальмы их – той же меры, как у ворот, обращенных лицом к востоку; и входят к ним семью ступенями, и перед ними выступы.
И во внутренний двор есть ворота против ворот северных и восточных; и намерил он от ворот до ворот сто локтей.
И повел меня на юг, и вот там ворота южные; и намерил он в столбах и выступах такую же меру.
И окна в них и в преддвериях их такие же, как те окна: длина пятьдесят локтей, а ширины двадцать пять локтей.
Подъем к ним – в семь ступеней, и преддверия перед ними; и пальмовые украшения – одно с той стороны и одно с другой на столбах их.
И во внутренний двор были южные ворота; и намерил он от ворот до ворот южных сто локтей.
И привел он меня через южные ворота во внутренний двор; и намерил в южных воротах ту же меру.
И боковые комнаты их, и столбы их, и притворы их – той же меры, и окна в них в притворах их были кругом; всего в длину пятьдесят локтей, а в ширину двадцать пять локтей.
Притворы были кругом длиною в двадцать пять локтей, а шириною в пять локтей.
И притворы были у них на внешний двор, и пальмы были на столбах их; подъем к ним – в восемь ступеней.
И повел меня восточными воротами на внутренний двор; и намерил в этих воротах ту же меру.
И боковые комнаты их, и столбы их, и притворы их были той же меры; и окна в них и притворах их были кругом; длина пятьдесят локтей, а ширина двадцать пять локтей.
Притворы у них были на внешний двор, и пальмы на столбах их с той и другой стороны; подъем к ним – в восемь ступеней.
Потом привел меня к северным воротам, и намерил в них ту же меру.
Боковые комнаты при них, столбы их и притворы их, и окна в них были кругом; всего в длину пятьдесят локтей, и в ширину двадцать пять локтей.
Притворы у них были на внешний двор, и пальмы на столбах их с той и с другой стороны; подъем к ним – в восемь ступеней.
Была также комната, со входом в нее, у столбов ворот: там омывают жертвы всесожжения.
А в притворе у ворот два стола с одной стороны и два с другой стороны, чтобы заколать на них жертвы всесожжения и жертвы за грех и жертвы за преступление.
И у наружного бока при входе в отверстие северных ворот были два стола, и у другого бока, подле притвора у ворот, два стола.
Четыре стола с одной стороны и четыре стола с другой стороны, по бокам ворот: всего восемь столов, на которых заколают жертвы.
И четыре стола для приготовления всесожжения были из тесаных камней, длиною в полтора локтя, и шириною в полтора локтя, а вышиною в один локоть; *на них кладут орудия для заклания жертвы всесожжения и других жертв.
И крюки в одну ладонь приделаны были к стенам здания кругом, *а на столах клали жертвенное мясо.
Снаружи внутренних ворот были комнаты для певцов; на внутреннем дворе, сбоку северных ворот, одна обращена лицом к югу, а другая, сбоку южных ворот, обращена лицом к северу.
И сказал он мне: «эта комната, которая лицом к югу, для священников, бодрствующих на страже храма;
а комната, которая лицом к северу, для священников, бодрствующих на страже жертвенника: это сыны Садока, которые одни из сынов Левия приближаются к Господу, чтобы служить Ему».
И намерил он во дворе сто локтей длины и сто локтей ширины: он был четырехугольный; а перед храмом стоял жертвенник.
И привел он меня к притвору храма, и намерил в столбах притвора пять локтей с одной стороны и пять локтей с другой; а в воротах три локтя ширины с одной стороны и три локтя с другой.
Длина притвора – в двадцать локтей, а ширина – в одиннадцать локтей, и всходят в него по десяти ступеням; и были подпоры у столбов, одна с одной стороны, а другая с другой.
