On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, «They have no wine.»

Jesus said to her, «Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.»

His mother said to the servants, «Whatever He says to you, do it.»

Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.

Jesus said to them, «Fill the waterpots with water.» And they filled them up to the brim.

And He said to them, «Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.» And they took it.

When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.

And he said to him, «Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!»

This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

After this He went down to Capernaum, He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples; and they did not stay there many days.

Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business.

When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changerś money and overturned the tables.

And He said to those who sold doves, «Take these things away! Do not make My Fatheŕs house a house of merchandise!»

Then His disciples remembered that it was written, «Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.»

So the Jews answered and said to Him, «What sign do You show to us, since You do these things?»

Jesus answered and said to them, «Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.»

Then the Jews said, «It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?»

But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did.

But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men,

and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.

Помяну́ша же ученицы́ Его́, я́ко пи́сано е́сть: жа́лость до́му Твоего́ снѣ́сть Мя́ {ре́вность до́му Твоего́ снѣде́ Мя}.

Отвѣща́ша же Иуде́е и рѣ́ша Ему́: ко́е зна́мение явля́еши на́мъ, я́ко сiя́ твори́ши.

[Зач. 6.] На третий день был брак в Кане Галилейской, и Матерь Иисуса была там.

Был также зван Иисус и ученики Его на брак.

И как недоставало вина, то Матерь Иисуса говорит Ему: вина нет у них.

Иисус говорит Ей: что Мне и Тебе, Же́но? еще не пришел час Мой.

Матерь Его сказала служителям: что скажет Он вам, то сделайте.

Было же тут шесть каменных водоносов, стоявших по обычаю очищения Иудейского, вмещавших по две или по три меры.

Иисус говорит им: наполните сосуды водою. И наполнили их до верха.

И говорит им: теперь почерпните и несите к распорядителю пира. И понесли.

Когда же распорядитель отведал воды, сделавшейся вином, – а он не знал, откуда это вино, знали только служители, почерпавшие воду, – тогда распорядитель зовет жениха

и говорит ему: всякий человек подает сперва хорошее вино, а когда напьются, тогда худшее; а ты хорошее вино сберег доселе.

Так положил Иисус начало чудесам в Кане Галилейской и явил славу Свою; и уверовали в Него ученики Его.

[Зач. 7.] После сего пришел Он в Капернаум, Сам и Матерь Его, и братья Его, и ученики Его; и там пробыли немного дней.

Приближалась Пасха Иудейская, и Иисус пришел в Иерусалим

и нашел, что в храме продавали волов, овец и голубей, и сидели меновщики денег.

И, сделав бич из веревок, выгнал из храма всех, также и овец и волов; и деньги у меновщиков рассыпал, а столы их опрокинул.

И сказал продающим голубей: возьмите это отсюда и до́ма Отца Моего не делайте домом торговли.

При сем ученики Его вспомнили, что написано: ревность по доме Твоем снедает Меня.

На это Иудеи сказали: каким знамением докажешь Ты нам, что имеешь власть так поступать?

Иисус сказал им в ответ: разрушьте храм сей, и Я в три дня воздвигну его.

На это сказали Иудеи: сей храм строился сорок шесть лет, и Ты в три дня воздвигнешь его?

А Он говорил о храме тела Своего.

Когда же воскрес Он из мертвых, то ученики Его вспомнили, что Он говорил это, и поверили Писанию и слову, которое сказал Иисус.

И когда Он был в Иерусалиме на празднике Пасхи, то многие, видя чудеса, которые Он творил, уверовали во имя Его.

Но Сам Иисус не вверял Себя им, потому что знал всех

и не имел нужды, чтобы кто засвидетельствовал о человеке, ибо Сам знал, что в человеке.

Al tercer día se celebraron unas bodas en Caná de Galilea, y estaba allí la madre de Jesús.

También fueron invitados a las bodas Jesús y sus discípulos.

Y faltó vino. Entonces la madre de Jesús le dijo:

—No tienen vino.

Jesús le dijo:

—¿Qué tiene que ver esto con nosotros, mujer? Aún no ha llegado mi hora.

Su madre dijo a los que servían:

—Haced todo lo que él os diga.

Había allí seis tinajas de piedra para agua, dispuestas para el rito de purificación de los judíos; en cada una de ellas cabían dos o tres cántaros.

Jesús les dijo:

—Llenad de agua estas tinajas.

Y las llenaron hasta arriba.

Entonces les dijo:

—Sacad ahora un poco y presentadlo al encargado del banquete.

Y se lo presentaron.

Cuando el encargado del banquete probó el agua hecha vino, sin saber de dónde era (aunque sí lo sabían los sirvientes que habían sacado el agua), llamó al esposo

y le dijo:

—Todo hombre sirve primero el buen vino, y cuando han bebido mucho, el inferior; sin embargo, tú has reservado el buen vino hasta ahora.

Este principio de señales hizo Jesús en Caná de Galilea, y manifestó su gloria; y sus discípulos creyeron en él.

Después de esto descendieron a Capernaúm él, su madre, sus hermanos y sus discípulos; y se quedaron allí no muchos días.

Estaba cerca la Pascua de los judíos, y subió Jesús a Jerusalén.

Encontró en el Templo a los que vendían bueyes, ovejas y palomas, y a los cambistas que estaban allí sentados

e hizo un azote de cuerdas y echó fuera del Templo a todos, con las ovejas y los bueyes; también desparramó las monedas de los cambistas y volcó las mesas;

y dijo a los que vendían palomas:

—Quitad esto de aquí, y no convirtáis la casa de mi Padre en casa de mercado.

Entonces recordaron sus discípulos que está escrito: «El celo de tu casa me consumirá.»

Los judíos respondieron y le dijeron:

—Ya que haces esto, ¿qué señal nos muestras?

Respondió Jesús y les dijo:

—Destruid este templo y en tres días lo levantaré.

Entonces los judíos dijeron:

—En cuarenta y seis años fue edificado este Templo, ¿y tú en tres días lo levantarás?

Pero él hablaba del templo de su cuerpo.

Por tanto, cuando resucitó de entre los muertos, sus discípulos recordaron que había dicho esto, y creyeron en la Escritura y en la palabra que Jesús había dicho.

Mientras estaba en Jerusalén, en la fiesta de la Pascua, muchos creyeron en su nombre al ver las señales que hacía.

Pero Jesús mismo no se fiaba de ellos, porque los conocía a todos;

y no necesitaba que nadie le explicara nada acerca del hombre, pues él sabía lo que hay en el hombre.
