Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying,
«Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.»
He answered and said to them, «Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?
For God commanded, saying, «Honor your father and your motheŕ; and, «He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.́
But you say, «Whoever says to his father or mother, «Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God»--
then he need not honor his father or mother.́ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.
Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:
«These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.»́
When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, «Hear and understand:
Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.»
Then His disciples came and said to Him, «Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?»
But He answered and said, «Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.
Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.»
Then Peter answered and said to Him, «Explain this parable to us.»
So Jesus said, «Are you also still without understanding?
Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.»
Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, «Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.»
But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, «Send her away, for she cries out after us.»
But He answered and said, «I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.»
Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, «Lord, help me!»
But He answered and said, «It is not good to take the childreńs bread and throw it to the little dogs.»
And she said, «Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masterś table.»
Then Jesus answered and said to her, «O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.» And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there.
Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesuś feet, and He healed them.
So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
Now Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said, «I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.»
Then His disciples said to Him, «Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?»
Jesus said to them, «How many loaves do you have?» And they said, «Seven, and a few little fish.»
So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude.
So they all ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left.
Now those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
And He sent away the multitude, got into the boat, and came to the region of Magdala.
Тогда́ приступи́ша ко Иису́сови и́же от Иерусали́ма кни́жницы и фарисе́е, глаго́люще:
почто́ ученицы́ Твои́ преступа́ютъ преда́нiе ста́рецъ? Не умыва́ютъ бо ру́къ свои́хъ, егда́ хлѣ́бъ ядя́тъ.
О́нъ же отвѣща́въ рече́ и́мъ: почто́ и вы́ преступа́ете за́повѣдь Бо́жiю за преда́нiе ва́ше?
Бо́гъ бо заповѣ́да, глаго́ля: чти́ отца́ и ма́терь: и, и́же злосло́витъ отца́ или́ ма́терь, сме́ртiю да у́мретъ.
Вы́ же глаго́лете: и́же а́ще рече́тъ отцу́ или́ ма́тери: да́ръ, и́мже бы от мене́ по́льзовался еси́:
и да не почти́тъ отца́ своего́ или́ ма́тере {ма́тере своея́}: и разори́сте за́повѣдь Бо́жiю за преда́нiе ва́ше.
Лицемѣ́ри, до́брѣ проро́чествова о ва́съ Иса́iа, глаго́ля:
приближа́ются Мнѣ́ лю́дiе сі́и усты́ свои́ми и устна́ми чту́тъ Мя́: се́рдце же и́хъ дале́че отстои́тъ от Мене́:
всу́е же чту́тъ Мя́, уча́ще уче́ниемъ, за́повѣдемъ человѣ́ческимъ.
И призва́въ наро́ды, рече́ и́мъ: слы́шите и разумѣ́йте:
не входя́щее во уста́ скверни́тъ человѣ́ка: но исходя́щее изо у́стъ, то́ скверни́тъ человѣ́ка.
[Зач. 61.] Тогда́ присту́пльше ученицы́ Его́ рѣ́ша Ему́: вѣ́си ли, я́ко фарисе́е слы́шавше сло́во соблазни́шася?
О́нъ же отвѣща́въ рече́: вся́къ са́дъ, его́же не насади́ Оте́цъ Мо́й Небе́сный, искорени́тся:
оста́вите и́хъ: вожди́ су́ть слѣ́пи слѣпце́мъ: слѣпе́цъ же слѣпца́ а́ще во́дитъ, о́ба въ я́му впаде́тася.
Отвѣща́въ же Пе́тръ рече́ Ему́: скажи́ на́мъ при́тчу сiю́.
Иису́съ же рече́ [и́мъ]: едина́че {еще́} ли и вы́ безъ ра́зума есте́?
Не у́ ли разумѣва́ете, я́ко вся́ко, е́же вхо́дитъ во уста́, во чре́во вмѣща́ется и афедро́номъ исхо́дитъ?
Исходя́щая же изо у́стъ, от се́рдца исхо́дятъ, и та́ скверня́тъ человѣ́ка:
от се́рдца бо исхо́дятъ помышле́нiя зла́я, уби́йства, прелюбодѣя́нiя, любодѣя́нiя, татьбы́, лжесвидѣ́телства, хулы́:
сiя́ су́ть скверня́щая человѣ́ка: а е́же неумове́нныма рука́ма я́сти, не скверни́тъ человѣ́ка.
[Зач. 62.] И изше́дъ отту́ду Иису́съ, отъи́де во страны́ Ти́рскiя и Сидо́нскiя.
И се́, жена́ Ханане́йска, от предѣ́лъ тѣ́хъ изше́дши, возопи́ къ Нему́ глаго́лющи: поми́луй мя́, Го́споди, Сы́не Дави́довъ, дщи́ моя́ злѣ́ бѣсну́ется.
О́нъ же не отвѣща́ е́й словесе́. И присту́пльше ученицы́ Его́, моля́ху Его́, глаго́люще: отпусти́ ю́, я́ко вопiе́тъ вслѣ́дъ на́съ.
О́нъ же отвѣща́въ рече́: нѣ́смь по́сланъ, то́кмо ко овца́мъ поги́бшымъ до́му Изра́илева.
Она́ же прише́дши поклони́ся Ему́, глаго́лющи: Го́споди, помози́ ми.
О́нъ же отвѣща́въ рече́: нѣ́сть добро́ отъя́ти хлѣ́ба ча́домъ и поврещи́ псо́мъ.
Она́ же рече́: е́й, Го́споди: и́бо и пси́ ядя́тъ от крупи́цъ па́дающихъ от трапе́зы господе́й свои́хъ.
Тогда́ отвѣща́въ Иису́съ рече́ е́й: о, же́но, ве́лiя вѣ́ра твоя́: бу́ди тебѣ́ я́коже хо́щеши. И исцѣлѣ́ дщи́ ея́ от того́ часа́.
[Зач. 63.] И преше́дъ отту́ду Иису́съ, прiи́де на мо́ре Галиле́йское, и возше́дъ на гору́, сѣ́де ту́.
И приступи́ша къ Нему́ наро́ди мно́зи, иму́ще съ собо́ю хромы́я, слѣпы́я, нѣмы́я, бѣ́дныя и и́ны мно́ги, и приверго́ша и́хъ къ нога́ма Иису́совыма: и исцѣли́ и́хъ:
я́коже наро́домъ диви́тися, ви́дящимъ нѣмы́я глаго́люща, бѣ́дныя здра́вы, хромы́я ходя́щя и слѣпы́я ви́дящя: и сла́вляху Бо́га Изра́илева.
[Зач. 64.] Иису́съ же призва́въ ученики́ Своя́, рече́ [и́мъ]: милосе́рдую о наро́дѣ [се́мъ], я́ко уже́ дни́ три́ присѣдя́тъ Мнѣ́ и не и́мутъ чесо́ я́сти: и отпусти́ти и́хъ не я́дшихъ не хощу́, да не ка́ко ослабѣ́ютъ на пути́.
И глаго́лаша Ему́ ученицы́ Его́: отку́ду на́мъ въ пусты́ни хлѣ́би толи́цы, я́ко да насы́тится толи́къ наро́дъ?
И глаго́ла и́мъ Иису́съ: коли́ко хлѣ́бы и́мате? Они́ же рѣ́ша: се́дмь, и ма́ло ры́бицъ.
И повелѣ́ наро́домъ возлещи́ на земли́,
и прiе́мь се́дмь хлѣ́бы и ры́бы, хвалу́ возда́въ преломи́ и даде́ ученико́мъ Свои́мъ, ученицы́ же наро́домъ.
И ядо́ша вси́ и насы́тишася: и взя́ша избы́тки укру́хъ, се́дмь ко́шницъ испо́лнь:
я́дшихъ же бя́ше четы́ре ты́сящы муже́й, ра́звѣ же́нъ и дѣте́й.
И отпусти́въ наро́ды, влѣ́зе въ кора́бль и прiи́де въ предѣ́лы Магдали́нски.
Alors des pharisiens et des scribes vinrent de Jérusalem auprès de Jésus, et dirent:
Pourquoi tes disciples transgressent-ils la tradition des anciens? Car ils ne se lavent pas les mains, quand ils prennent leurs repas.
Il leur répondit: Et vous, pourquoi transgressez-vous le commandement de Dieu au profit de votre tradition?
Car Dieu a dit: Honore ton père et ta mère; et: Celui qui maudira son père ou sa mère sera puni de mort.
Mais vous, vous dites: Celui qui dira à son père ou à sa mère: Ce dont j'aurais pu t'assister est une offrande à Dieu, n'est pas tenu d'honorer son père ou sa mère.
Vous annulez ainsi la parole de Dieu au profit de votre tradition.
Hypocrites, Ésaïe a bien prophétisé sur vous, quand il a dit:
Ce peuple m'honore des lèvres, Mais son coeur est éloigné de moi.
C'est en vain qu'ils m'honorent, en enseignant des préceptes qui sont des commandements d'hommes.
Ayant appelé à lui la foule, il lui dit: Écoutez, et comprenez.
Ce n'est pas ce qui entre dans la bouche qui souille l'homme; mais ce qui sort de la bouche, c'est ce qui souille l'homme.
Alors ses disciples s'approchèrent, et lui dirent: Sais-tu que les pharisiens ont été scandalisés des paroles qu'ils ont entendues?
Il répondit: Toute plante que n'a pas plantée mon Père céleste sera déracinée.
Laissez-les: ce sont des aveugles qui conduisent des aveugles; si un aveugle conduit un aveugle, ils tomberont tous deux dans une fosse.
Pierre, prenant la parole, lui dit: Explique-nous cette parabole.
Et Jésus dit: Vous aussi, êtes-vous encore sans intelligence?
Ne comprenez-vous pas que tout ce qui entre dans la bouche va dans le ventre, puis est jeté dans les lieux secrets?
Mais ce qui sort de la bouche vient du coeur, et c'est ce qui souille l'homme.
Car c'est du coeur que viennent les mauvaises pensées, les meurtres, les adultères, les impudicités, les vols, les faux témoignages, les calomnies.
Voilà les choses qui souillent l'homme; mais manger sans s'être lavé les mains, cela ne souille point l'homme.
Jésus, étant parti de là, se retira dans le territoire de Tyr et de Sidon.
Et voici, une femme cananéenne, qui venait de ces contrées, lui cria: Aie pitié de moi, Seigneur, Fils de David! Ma fille est cruellement tourmentée par le démon.
Il ne lui répondit pas un mot, et ses disciples s'approchèrent, et lui dirent avec insistance: Renvoie-la, car elle crie derrière nous.
Il répondit: Je n'ai été envoyé qu'aux brebis perdues de la maison d'Israël.
Mais elle vint se prosterner devant lui, disant: Seigneur, secours-moi!
Il répondit: Il n'est pas bien de prendre le pain des enfants, et de le jeter aux petits chiens.
Oui, Seigneur, dit-elle, mais les petits chiens mangent les miettes qui tombent de la table de leurs maîtres.
Alors Jésus lui dit: Femme, ta foi est grande; qu'il te soit fait comme tu veux. Et, à l'heure même, sa fille fut guérie.
Jésus quitta ces lieux, et vint près de la mer de Galilée. Étant monté sur la montagne, il s'y assit.
Alors s'approcha de lui une grande foule, ayant avec elle des boiteux, des aveugles, des muets, des estropiés, et beaucoup d'autres malades. On les mit à ses pieds, et il les guérit;
en sorte que la foule était dans l'admiration de voir que les muets parlaient, que les estropiés étaient guéris, que les boiteux marchaient, que les aveugles voyaient; et elle glorifiait le Dieu d'Israël.
Jésus, ayant appelé ses disciples, dit: Je suis ému de compassion pour cette foule; car voilà trois jours qu'ils sont près de moi, et ils n'ont rien à manger. Je ne veux pas les renvoyer à jeun, de peur que les forces ne leur manquent en chemin.
Les disciples lui dirent: Comment nous procurer dans ce lieu désert assez de pains pour rassasier une si grande foule?
Jésus leur demanda: Combien avez-vous de pains? Sept, répondirent-ils, et quelques petits poissons.
Alors il fit asseoir la foule par terre,
prit les sept pains et les poissons, et, après avoir rendu grâces, il les rompit et les donna à ses disciples, qui les distribuèrent à la foule.
Tous mangèrent et furent rassasiés, et l'on emporta sept corbeilles pleines des morceaux qui restaient.
Ceux qui avaient mangé étaient quatre mille hommes, sans les femmes et les enfants.
Ensuite, il renvoya la foule, monta dans la barque, et se rendit dans la contrée de Magadan.

Тогда приходят к Иисусу Иерусалимские книжники и фарисеи и говорят:
зачем ученики Твои преступают предание старцев? ибо не умывают рук своих, когда едят хлеб.
Он же сказал им в ответ: зачем и вы преступаете заповедь Божию ради предания вашего?
Ибо Бог заповедал: почитай отца и мать; и: злословящий отца или мать смертью да умрет.
А вы говорите: если кто скажет отцу или матери: дар Богу то, чем бы ты от меня пользовался,
тот может и не почтить отца своего или мать свою; таким образом вы устранили заповедь Божию преданием вашим.
Лицемеры! хорошо пророчествовал о вас Исаия, говоря:
приближаются ко Мне люди сии устами своими, и чтут Меня языком, сердце же их далеко отстоит от Меня;
но тщетно чтут Меня, уча учениям, заповедям человеческим.
И, призвав народ, сказал им: слушайте и разумейте!
не то́, что́ входит в уста, оскверняет человека, но то́, что́ выходит из уст, оскверняет человека.
[Зач. 61.] Тогда ученики Его, приступив, сказали Ему: знаешь ли, что фарисеи, услышав слово сие, соблазнились?
Он же сказал в ответ: всякое растение, которое не Отец Мой Небесный насадил, искоренится;
оставьте их: они – слепые вожди слепых; а если слепой ведет слепого, то оба упадут в яму.
Петр же, отвечая, сказал Ему: изъясни нам притчу сию.
Иисус сказал: неужели и вы еще не разумеете?
еще ли не понимаете, что всё, входящее в уста, проходит в чрево и извергается вон?
а исходящее из уст – из сердца исходит – сие оскверняет человека,
ибо из сердца исходят злые помыслы, убийства, прелюбодеяния, любодеяния, кражи, лжесвидетельства, хуления –
это оскверняет человека; а есть неумытыми руками – не оскверняет человека.
[Зач. 62.] И, выйдя оттуда, Иисус удалился в страны Тирские и Сидонские.
И вот, женщина Хананеянка, выйдя из тех мест, кричала Ему: помилуй меня, Господи, Сын Давидов, дочь моя жестоко беснуется.
Но Он не отвечал ей ни слова. И ученики Его, приступив, просили Его: отпусти ее, потому что кричит за нами.
Он же сказал в ответ: Я послан только к погибшим овцам дома Израилева.
А она, подойдя, кланялась Ему и говорила: Господи! помоги мне.
Он же сказал в ответ: нехорошо взять хлеб у детей и бросить псам.
Она сказала: так, Господи! но и псы едят крохи, которые падают со стола господ их.
Тогда Иисус сказал ей в ответ: о, женщина! велика́ вера твоя; да будет тебе по желанию твоему. И исцелилась дочь ее в тот час.
[Зач. 63.] Перейдя оттуда, пришел Иисус к морю Галилейскому и, взойдя на гору, сел там.
И приступило к Нему множество народа, имея с собою хромых, слепых, немых, увечных и иных многих, и повергли их к ногам Иисусовым; и Он исцелил их;
так что народ дивился, видя немых говорящими, увечных здоровыми, хромых ходящими и слепых видящими; и прославлял Бога Израилева.
[Зач. 64.] Иисус же, призвав учеников Своих, сказал им: жаль Мне народа, что уже три дня находятся при Мне, и нечего им есть; отпустить же их неевшими не хочу, чтобы не ослабели в дороге.
И говорят Ему ученики Его: откуда нам взять в пустыне столько хлебов, чтобы накормить столько народа?
Говорит им Иисус: сколько у вас хлебов? Они же сказали: семь, и немного рыбок.
Тогда велел народу возлечь на землю.
И, взяв семь хлебов и рыбы, воздал благодарение, преломил и дал ученикам Своим, а ученики народу.
И ели все и насытились; и набрали оставшихся кусков семь корзин полных,
а евших было четыре тысячи человек, кроме женщин и детей.
И, отпустив народ, Он вошел в лодку и прибыл в пределы Магдалинские.
