Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,
And gathered out of the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.
They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way; They found no city to dwell in.
Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses.
And He led them forth by the right way, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.
Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Bound in affliction and irons--
Because they rebelled against the words of God, And despised the counsel of the Most High,
Therefore He brought down their heart with labor; They fell down, and there was none to help.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains in pieces.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
For He has broken the gates of bronze, And cut the bars of iron in two.
Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.
Their soul abhorred all manner of food, And they drew near to the gates of death.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses.
He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing.
Those who go down to the sea in ships, Who do business on great waters,
They see the works of the LORD, And His wonders in the deep.
For He commands and raises the stormy wind, Which lifts up the waves of the sea.
They mount up to the heavens, They go down again to the depths; Their soul melts because of trouble.
They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their witś end.
Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses.
He calms the storm, So that its waves are still.
Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He guides them to their desired haven.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them exalt Him also in the assembly of the people, And praise Him in the company of the elders.
He turns rivers into a wilderness, And the watersprings into dry ground;
A fruitful land into barrenness, For the wickedness of those who dwell in it.
He turns a wilderness into pools of water, And dry land into watersprings.
There He makes the hungry dwell, That they may establish a city for a dwelling place,
And sow fields and plant vineyards, That they may yield a fruitful harvest.
He also blesses them, and they multiply greatly; And He does not let their cattle decrease.
When they are diminished and brought low Through oppression, affliction and sorrow,
He pours contempt on princes, And causes them to wander in the wilderness where there is no way;
Yet He sets the poor on high, far from affliction, And makes their families like a flock.
The righteous see it and rejoice, And all iniquity stops its mouth.
Whoever is wise will observe these things, And they will understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

Да реку́тъ изба́влен­нiи Го́сподемъ, и́хже изба́ви изъ руки́ врага́,
и от­ стра́нъ собра́ и́хъ, от­ восто́къ и за́падъ, и сѣ́вера и мо́ря:
заблуди́ша въ пусты́ни безво́днѣй, пути́ гра́да оби́телнаго не обрѣто́ша:
а́лчуще и жа́ждуще, душа́ и́хъ въ ни́хъ изчезе́.

ті́и ви́дѣша дѣла́ Госпо́дня и чудеса́ Его́ во глубинѣ́.
Рече́, и ста́ ду́хъ бу́ренъ, и воз­несо́шася во́лны его́:
восхо́дятъ до небе́съ и низхо́дятъ до бе́зднъ: душа́ и́хъ въ злы́хъ та́яше:
смято́шася, подвиго́шася я́ко пiя́ный, и вся́ му́дрость и́хъ поглощена́ бы́сть.

И воз­весели́шася, я́ко умолко́ша, и наста́ви я́ въ при­­ста́нище хотѣ́нiя Сво­его́.
Да исповѣ́дят­ся {да исповѣ́дятъ} Го́сподеви ми́лости Его́ и чудеса́ Его́ сыново́мъ человѣ́ческимъ:
да воз­несу́тъ Его́ въ це́ркви людстѣ́й, и на сѣда́лищи ста́рецъ восхва́лятъ Его́.
Положи́лъ е́сть рѣ́ки въ пусты́ню и исхо́диша водна́я въ жа́жду,
зе́млю плодоно́сную въ сла́ность, от­ зло́бы живу́щихъ на не́й.
Положи́лъ е́сть пусты́ню во езе́ра водна́я и зе́млю безво́дную во исхо́дища водна́я.
И насели́ та́мо а́лчущыя, и соста́виша гра́ды оби́телны:
и насѣ́яша се́ла, и насади́ша виногра́ды, и сотвори́ша пло́дъ жи́тенъ.
И благослови́ я́, и умно́жишася зѣло́: и скоты́ и́хъ не ума́ли.
И ума́лишася и озло́бишася от­ ско́рби зо́лъ и болѣ́зни:
излiя́ся уничиже́нiе на кня́зи и́хъ, и облазни́ {заблужда́ти сотвори́} я́ по непрохо́днѣй, а не по пути́.
И помо́же убо́гу от­ нищеты́ и положи́ я́ко о́вцы оте́че­ст­вiя.
У́зрятъ пра́вiи и воз­веселя́т­ся, и вся́кое беззако́нiе загради́тъ уста́ своя́.
Кто́ прему́дръ и сохрани́тъ сiя́? И уразумѣ́ютъ ми́лости Госпо́дни.

107:1 Louez l'Éternel, car il est bon, Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours!
107:2 Qu'ainsi disent les rachetés de l'Éternel, Ceux qu'il a délivrés de la main de l'ennemi,
107:3 Et qu'il a rassemblés de tous les pays, De l'orient et de l'occident, du nord et de la mer!
107:4 Ils erraient dans le désert, ils marchaient dans la solitude, Sans trouver une ville où ils pussent habiter.
107:5 Ils souffraient de la faim et de la soif; Leur âme était languissante.
107:6 Dans leur détresse, ils crièrent à l'Éternel, Et il les délivra de leurs angoisses;
107:7 Il les conduisit par le droit chemin, Pour qu'ils arrivassent dans une ville habitable.
107:8 Qu'ils louent l'Éternel pour sa bonté, Et pour ses merveilles en faveur des fils de l'homme!
107:9 Car il a satisfait l'âme altérée, Il a comblé de biens l'âme affamée.
107:10 Ceux qui avaient pour demeure les ténèbres et l'ombre de la mort Vivaient captifs dans la misère et dans les chaînes,
107:11 Parce qu'ils s'étaient révoltés contre les paroles de Dieu, Parce qu'ils avaient méprisé le conseil du Très Haut.

107:35 Il change le désert en étang, Et la terre aride en sources d'eaux,
107:36 Et il y établit ceux qui sont affamés. Ils fondent une ville pour l'habiter;
107:37 Ils ensemencent des champs, plantent des vignes, Et ils en recueillent les produits.
107:38 Il les bénit, et ils deviennent très nombreux, Et il ne diminue point leur bétail.
107:39 Sont-ils amoindris et humiliés Par l'oppression, le malheur et la souffrance;
107:40 Verse-t-il le mépris sur les grands, Les fait-il errer dans des déserts sans chemin,
107:41 Il relève l'indigent et le délivre de la misère, Il multiplie les familles comme des troupeaux.
107:42 Les hommes droits le voient et se réjouissent, Mais toute iniquité ferme la bouche.
107:43 Que celui qui est sage prenne garde à ces choses, Et qu'il soit attentif aux bontés de l'Éternel.
2 Да восхвалят Господа избавленные от врага. 9 За то, что они не покорялись Господу, Он смирил их бедствиями, но по обращении к Нему избавил от уз. 16 Покаяние пред Богом спасло их. 23 Пребывание в плену походило на состояние моряков во время бури. 33 Прежде превращенная в пустыню страна возрождается. Мудрый видит это и понимает оказанную милость Господа.

Славьте Господа, ибо Он благ, ибо вовек милость Его!
Так да скажут избавленные Господом, которых избавил Он от руки врага,
и собрал от стран, от востока и запада, от севера и моря.
Они блуждали в пустыне по безлюдному пути и не находили населенного города;
терпели голод и жажду, душа их истаевала в них.
Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он избавил их от бедствий их,
и повел их прямым путем, чтобы они шли к населенному городу.
Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих:
ибо Он насытил душу жаждущую и душу алчущую исполнил благами.
Они сидели во тьме и тени смертной, окованные скорбью и железом;
ибо не покорялись словам Божиим и небрегли о воле Всевышнего.
Он смирил сердце их работами; они преткнулись, и не было помогающего.
Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он спас их от бедствий их;
вывел их из тьмы и тени смертной, и расторгнул узы их.
Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих:
ибо Он сокрушил врата медные и вереи железные сломил.
Безрассудные страдали за беззаконные пути свои и за неправды свои;
от всякой пищи отвращалась душа их, и они приближались ко вратам смерти.
Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он спас их от бедствий их;
послал слово Свое и исцелил их, и избавил их от могил их.
Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих!
Да приносят Ему жертву хвалы и да возвещают о делах Его с пением!
Отправляющиеся на кораблях в море, производящие дела на больших водах,
видят дела Господа и чудеса Его в пучине:
Он речет, – и восстанет бурный ветер и высоко поднимает волны его:
восходят до небес, нисходят до бездны; душа их истаевает в бедствии;
они кружатся и шатаются, как пьяные, и вся мудрость их исчезает.
Но воззвали к Господу в скорби своей, и Он вывел их из бедствия их.
Он превращает бурю в тишину, и волны умолкают.
И веселятся, что они утихли, и Он приводит их к желаемой пристани.
Да славят Господа за милость Его и за чудные дела Его для сынов человеческих!
Да превозносят Его в собрании народном и да славят Его в сонме старейшин!
Он превращает реки в пустыню и источники вод – в сушу,
землю плодородную – в солончатую, за нечестие живущих на ней.
Он превращает пустыню в озеро, и землю иссохшую – в источники вод;
и поселяет там алчущих, и они строят город для обитания;
засевают поля, насаждают виноградники, которые приносят им обильные плоды.
Он благословляет их, и они весьма размножаются, и скота их не умаляет.
Уменьшились они и упали от угнетения, бедствия и скорби, –
Он изливает бесчестие на князей и оставляет их блуждать в пустыне, где нет путей.
Бедного же извлекает из бедствия и умножает род его, как стада овец.
Праведники видят сие и радуются, а всякое нечестие заграждает уста свои.
Кто мудр, тот заметит сие и уразумеет милость Господа.
