Deliver me, O LORD, from evil men; Preserve me from violent men,
Who plan evil things in their hearts; They continually gather together for war.
They sharpen their tongues like a serpent; The poison of asps is under their lips.Selah
Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from violent men, Who have purposed to make my steps stumble.
The proud have hidden a snare for me, and cords; They have spread a net by the wayside; They have set traps for me.Selah
I said to the LORD: «You are my God; Hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle.
Do not grant, O LORD, the desires of the wicked; Do not further his wicked scheme, Lest they be exalted.Selah
«As for the head of those who surround me, Let the evil of their lips cover them;
Let burning coals fall upon them; Let them be cast into the fire, Into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
Let not a slanderer be established in the earth; Let evil hunt the violent man to overthrow him.»
I know that the LORD will maintain The cause of the afflicted, And justice for the poor.
Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence.
Въ коне́цъ, псало́мъ Дави́ду.–
–Изми́ мя, Го́споди, от человѣ́ка лука́ва, от му́жа непра́ведна изба́ви мя́:
2и́же помы́слиша непра́вду въ се́рдцы, ве́сь де́нь ополча́ху бра́ни:
3изостри́ша язы́къ сво́й я́ко змiи́нъ: я́дъ а́спидовъ подъ устна́ми и́хъ.
4Сохрани́ мя, Го́споди, изъ руки́ грѣ́шничи, от человѣ́къ непра́ведныхъ изми́ мя, и́же помы́слиша запя́ти стопы́ моя́.
5Скры́ша го́рдiи сѣ́ть мнѣ́ и у́жы, препя́ша сѣ́ть нога́ма мои́ма:
6при стези́ собла́зны положи́ша ми́.

Рѣ́хъ Го́сподеви: Бо́гъ мо́й еси́ Ты́, внуши́, Го́споди, гла́съ моле́нiя моего́.
Го́споди, Го́споди, си́ло спасе́нiя моего́, осѣни́лъ еси́ надъ главо́ю мое́ю въ де́нь бра́ни.
Не преда́ждь мене́, Го́споди, от жела́нiя моего́ грѣ́шнику: помы́слиша на мя́, не оста́ви мене́, да не когда́ вознесу́тся.
Глава́ окруже́нiя и́хъ, тру́дъ усте́нъ и́хъ покры́етъ я́.
Паду́тъ на ни́хъ у́глiя о́гненная, низложи́ши я́ во страсте́хъ, и не постоя́тъ.
Му́жъ язы́ченъ не испра́вится на земли́: му́жа непра́ведна зла́я уловя́тъ во истлѣ́нiе.
Позна́хъ, я́ко сотвори́тъ Госпо́дь су́дъ ни́щымъ и ме́сть убо́гимъ.
Оба́че пра́веднiи исповѣ́дятся и́мени Твоему́, и вселя́тся пра́вiи съ лице́мъ Твои́мъ.

140:2 Eripe me, Domine, ab homine malo, a viro violentiae serva me.
140:3 Qui cogitaverunt mala in corde, tota die constituebant proelia.
140:4 Acuerunt linguas suas sicut serpentis, venenum aspidum sub labiis eorum.
140:5 Custodi me, Domine, de manu peccatoris et a viro violentiae serva me, qui cogitaverunt supplantare gressus meos.
140:6 Absconderunt superbi laqueum mihi et funes extenderunt in rete, iuxta iter offendicula posuerunt mihi.
140:7 Dixi Domino: «Deus meus es tu; auribus percipe, Domine, vocem deprecationis meae».
140:8 Domine, Domine, virtus salutis meae, obumbrasti caput meum in die belli.
140:9 Ne concedas, Domine, desideria impii; consilia eius ne perficias. Exaltant
140:10 caput, qui circumdant me; malitia labiorum ipsorum operiat eos.
140:11 Cadant super eos carbones ignis, in foveas deicias eos, et non exsurgant.
140:12 Vir linguosus non firmabitur in terra, virum violentiae mala capient in interitu.
140:13 Cognovi quia faciet Dominus iudicium inopis et vindictam pauperum.
140:14 Verumtamen iusti confitebuntur nomini tuo, et habitabunt recti in conspectu tuo.
