Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.

Praise the LORD with the harp; Make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings.

Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.

For the word of the LORD is right, And all His work is done in truth.

He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses.

Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.

The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men.

From the place of His dwelling He looks On all the inhabitants of the earth;

He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works.

No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.

A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.

Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy,

To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.

Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.

For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.

Let Your mercy, O LORD, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.

Псало́мъ Дави́ду, не надпи́санъ у Евре́й.

Ра́дуйтеся, пра́веднiи, о Го́сподѣ: пра́вымъ подоба́етъ похвала́.

Исповѣ́дайтеся Го́сподеви въ гу́слехъ, во псалти́ри десятостру́ннѣмъ по́йте Ему́:

воспо́йте Ему́ пѣ́снь но́ву, до́брѣ по́йте Ему́ со восклица́нiемъ:

я́ко пра́во сло́во Госпо́дне, и вся́ дѣла́ Его́ въ вѣ́рѣ.

Лю́битъ ми́лостыню и су́дъ Госпо́дь, ми́лости Госпо́дни испо́лнь земля́.

Сло́вомъ Госпо́днимъ небеса́ утверди́шася, и ду́хомъ у́стъ Его́ вся́ си́ла и́хъ:

собира́яй я́ко мѣ́хъ во́ды морскі́я, полага́яй въ сокро́вищихъ бе́здны.

Да убои́тся Го́спода вся́ земля́, от Него́же да подви́жутся вси́ живу́щiи по вселе́ннѣй:

я́ко То́й рече́, и бы́ша: То́й повелѣ́, и созда́шася.

Госпо́дь разоря́етъ совѣ́ты язы́ковъ, отмета́етъ же мы́сли люді́й и отмета́етъ совѣ́ты князе́й.

Совѣ́тъ же Госпо́день во вѣ́къ пребыва́етъ, помышле́нiя се́рдца Его́ въ ро́дъ и ро́дъ.

Блаже́нъ язы́къ, ему́же е́сть Госпо́дь Бо́гъ Его́, лю́дiе, я́же избра́ въ наслѣ́дiе Себѣ́.

Съ небесе́ призрѣ́ Госпо́дь, ви́дѣ вся́ сы́ны человѣ́ческiя:

от гото́ваго жили́ща Своего́ призрѣ́ на вся́ живу́щыя на земли́:

созда́вый на еди́нѣ сердца́ и́хъ, разумѣва́яй на вся́ дѣла́ и́хъ.

Не спаса́ется ца́рь мно́гою си́лою, и исполи́нъ не спасе́тся мно́жествомъ крѣ́пости своея́.

Ло́жь ко́нь во спасе́нiе, во мно́жествѣ же си́лы своея́ не спасе́тся.

Се́, о́чи Госпо́дни на боя́щыяся Его́, упова́ющыя на ми́лость Его́:

изба́вити от сме́рти ду́шы и́хъ, и препита́ти я́ въ гла́дъ.

Душа́ же на́ша ча́етъ Го́спода, я́ко помо́щникъ и защи́титель на́шъ е́сть:

я́ко о Не́мъ возвесели́тся се́рдце на́ше, и во и́мя свято́е Его́ упова́хомъ.

Бу́ди, Го́споди, ми́лость Твоя́ на на́съ, я́коже упова́хомъ на Тя́.

^33:1רַנְּנוּ צַדִּיקִים בַּיהוָה; לַיְשָׁרִים, נָאוָה תְהִלָּה׃

^33:2הוֹדוּ לַיהוָה בְּכִנּוֹר; בְּנֵבֶל עָשׂוֹר, זַמְּרוּ־לוֹ׃

^33:3שִׁירוּ־לוֹ שִׁיר חָדָשׁ; הֵיטִיבוּ נַגֵּן, בִּתְרוּעָה׃

^33:4כִּי־יָשָׁר דְּבַר־יְהוָה; וְכָל־מַעֲשֵׂהוּ, בֶּאֱמוּנָה׃

^33:5אֹהֵב צְדָקָה וּמִשְׁפָּט; חֶסֶד יְהוָה, מָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ׃

^33:6בִּדְבַר יְהוָה שָׁמַיִם נַעֲשׂוּ; וּבְרוּחַ פִּיו, כָּל־צְבָאָם׃

^33:7כֹּנֵס כַּנֵּד מֵי הַיָּם; נֹתֵן בְּאֹצָרוֹת תְּהוֹמוֹת׃

^33:8יִירְאוּ מֵיְהוָה כָּל־הָאָרֶץ; מִמֶּנּוּ יָגוּרוּ, כָּל־יֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל׃

^33:9כִּי הוּא אָמַר וַיֶּהִי; הוּא־צִוָּה, וַיַּעֲמֹד׃

^33:10יְהוָה, הֵפִיר עֲצַת־גּוֹיִם; הֵנִיא, מַחְשְׁבוֹת עַמִּים׃

^33:11עֲצַת יְהוָה לְעוֹלָם תַּעֲמֹד; מַחְשְׁבוֹת לִבּוֹ, לְדֹר וָדֹר׃

^33:16אֵין־הַמֶּלֶךְ נוֹשָׁע בְּרָב־חָיִל; גִּבּוֹר, לֹא־יִנָּצֵל בְּרָב־כֹּחַ׃

^33:17שֶׁקֶר הַסּוּס לִתְשׁוּעָה; וּבְרֹב חֵילוֹ, לֹא יְמַלֵּט׃

^33:18הִנֵּה עֵין יְהוָה אֶל־יְרֵאָיו; לַמְיַחֲלִים לְחַסְדּוֹ׃

^33:19לְהַצִּיל מִמָּוֶת נַפְשָׁם; וּלְחַיּוֹתָם, בָּרָעָב׃

^33:20נַפְשֵׁנוּ חִכְּתָה לַיהוָה; עֶזְרֵנוּ וּמָגִנֵּנוּ הוּא׃

^33:21כִּי־בוֹ יִשְׂמַח לִבֵּנוּ; כִּי בְשֵׁם קָדְשׁוֹ בָטָחְנוּ׃

^33:22יְהִי־חַסְדְּךָ יְהוָה עָלֵינוּ; כַּאֲשֶׁר, יִחַלְנוּ לָךְ׃

^33:1Jubelt dem HERRN zu, ihr alle, die ihr ihm gehorcht!
Es ist gut, wenn die Redlichen ihn preisen!

^33:2Dankt dem HERRN auf der Laute,
spielt für ihn auf der zehnsaitigen Harfe!

^33:3Singt ihm ein neues Lied,
singt und spielt, gebt euer Bestes!

^33:4Das Wort des HERRN ist verlässlich;
er beweist es durch seine Taten.

^33:5Er liebt Gerechtigkeit und Recht;
von seiner Güte lebt die ganze Welt.

^33:6Durch das Wort des HERRN
ist der Himmel entstanden,
die Gestirne schuf er durch seinen Befehl.

^33:7Das Wasser am Himmel
hat er in Wolken gefasst,
die Fluten in Kammern eingesperrt.

^33:8Vor ihm muss sich die ganze Erde fürchten
und jeder Mensch in Ehrfurcht erschauern.

^33:9Denn er spricht und es geschieht;
er gibt einen Befehl, schon ist er ausgeführt.

er macht ihre stolzen Pläne zunichte.

^33:11Doch was er selbst sich vornimmt,
das führt er auch aus;
sein Plan steht für alle Zeiten fest.

^33:12Glücklich das Volk,
das den HERRN zum Gott hat,
das er erwählt hat als sein Eigentum!

^33:13Der HERR blickt vom Himmel herab auf die Menschen;

^33:14von dort oben, wo sein Thronsitz ist,
beobachtet er alle, die auf der Erde leben.

^33:15Er hat ihnen Verstand und Willen gegeben
und weiß alles, was sie tun und treiben.

^33:16Wenn ein König in der Schlacht den Sieg erringt,
verdankt er das nicht seiner großen Armee;
und wenn ein Krieger heil davonkommt,
liegt es nicht an seinen starken Muskeln.

^33:17Wer sich auf Reiterheere verlässt, ist verlassen;
auch viele Pferde mit all ihrer Kraft
können den Sieg nicht erzwingen.

^33:18Doch der HERR beschützt alle,
die ihm gehorchen,
alle, die mit seiner Güte rechnen.

^33:19Er wird sie vor dem Tod bewahren
und in Hungerzeiten am Leben erhalten.

^33:20Wir hoffen auf den HERRN,
er hilft uns und beschützt uns.

^33:21Wir freuen uns über ihn,
denn auf ihn, den heiligen Gott, ist Verlass.

^33:22HERR, lass uns deine Güte sehen,
wie wir es von dir erhoffen!
