Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God!

For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head.

They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.

They have said, «Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.»

For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You:

The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites;

Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot.Selah

Deal with them as with Midian, As with Sisera, As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,

Who perished at En Dor, Who became as refuse on the earth.

Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

Who said, «Let us take for ourselves The pastures of God for a possession.»

O my God, make them like the whirling dust, Like the chaff before the wind!

As the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,

So pursue them with Your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm.

Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O LORD.

Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish,

That they may know that You, whose name alone is the LORD, Are the Most High over all the earth.

Пѣ́снь псалма́ Аса́фу.

Бо́же, кто́ уподо́бится Тебѣ́? Не премолчи́, ниже́ укроти́ {ниже́ укроти́ся}, Бо́же:

я́ко се́, врази́ Твои́ возшумѣ́ша, и ненави́дящiи Тя́ воздвиго́ша главу́.

На лю́ди Твоя́ лука́вноваша во́лею, и совѣща́ша на святы́я Твоя́.

Рѣ́ша: прiиди́те и потреби́мъ я́ от язы́къ, и не помяне́тся и́мя Изра́илево ктому́.

Я́ко совѣща́ша единомышле́нiемъ вку́пѣ, на Тя́ завѣ́тъ завѣща́ша:

селе́нiя Идуме́йска и Исма́илите, Моа́въ и Ага́ряне,

Гева́лъ и Аммо́нъ и Амали́къ, иноплеме́нницы съ живу́щими въ Ти́рѣ:

и́бо и Ассу́ръ прiи́де съ ни́ми, бы́ша въ заступле́нiе сыново́мъ Ло́товымъ:

сотвори́ и́мъ я́ко Мадiа́му и Сиса́рѣ, я́ко Иави́му въ пото́цѣ Ки́ссовѣ:

потреби́шася во Аендо́рѣ, бы́ша я́ко гно́й земны́й.

Положи́ кня́зи и́хъ я́ко Ори́ва и Зи́ва, и Зеве́а и Салма́на, вся́ кня́зи и́хъ,

и́же рѣ́ша: да наслѣ́димъ себѣ́ святи́лище Бо́жiе.

Бо́же мо́й, положи́ я́ я́ко ко́ло, я́ко тро́сть предъ лице́мъ вѣ́тра.

Я́ко о́гнь попаля́яй дубра́вы, я́ко пла́мень пожига́яй го́ры:

та́ко пожене́ши я́ бу́рею Твое́ю, и гнѣ́вомъ Твои́мъ смяте́ши я́.

Испо́лни ли́ца и́хъ безче́стiя, и взы́щутъ и́мене Твоего́, Го́споди.

Да постыдя́тся и смяту́тся въ вѣ́къ вѣ́ка, и посра́мятся и поги́бнутъ.

И да позна́ютъ, я́ко и́мя Тебѣ́ Госпо́дь, Ты́ еди́нъ Вы́шнiй по все́й земли́.

^83:1שִׁיר מִזְמוֹר לְאָסָף׃

^83:2אֱלֹהִים אַל־דֳּמִי־לָךְ; אַל־תֶּחֱרַשׁ וְאַל־תִּשְׁקֹט אֵל׃

^83:3כִּי־הִנֵּה אוֹיְבֶיךָ יֶהֱמָיוּן; וּמְשַׂנְאֶיךָ, נָשְׂאוּ רֹאשׁ׃

^83:4עַל־עַמְּךָ יַעֲרִימוּ סוֹד; וְיִתְיָעֲצוּ, עַל־צְפוּנֶיךָ׃

^83:5אָמְרוּ, לְכוּ וְנַכְחִידֵם מִגּוֹי; וְלֹא־יִזָּכֵר שֵׁם־יִשְׂרָאֵל עוֹד׃

^83:6כִּי נוֹעֲצוּ לֵב יַחְדָּו; עָלֶיךָ, בְּרִית יִכְרֹתוּ׃

^83:7אָהֳלֵי אֱדוֹם וְיִשְׁמְעֵאלִים, מוֹאָב וְהַגְרִים׃

^83:8גְּבָל וְעַמּוֹן וַעֲמָלֵק; פְּלֶשֶׁת, עִם־יֹשְׁבֵי צוֹר׃

^83:9גַּם־אַשּׁוּר נִלְוָה עִמָּם; הָיוּ זְרוֹעַ לִבְנֵי־לוֹט סֶלָה׃

^83:10עֲשֵׂה־לָהֶם כְּמִדְיָן; כְּסִיסְרָא כְיָבִין, בְּנַחַל קִישׁוֹן׃

^83:11נִשְׁמְדוּ בְעֵין־דֹּאר; הָיוּ דֹּמֶן, לָאֲדָמָה׃

^83:12שִׁיתֵמוֹ נְדִיבֵמוֹ כְּעֹרֵב וְכִזְאֵב; וּכְזֶבַח וּכְצַלְמֻנָּע, כָּל־נְסִיכֵמוֹ׃

^83:2 Deus, ne quiescas, ne taceas neque compescaris, Deus,

^83:3 quoniam ecce inimici tui fremuerunt, et, qui oderunt te, extulerunt caput.

^83:4 Adversus populum tuum malignaverunt consilium et cogitaverunt adversus eos, quos abscondisti tibi.

^83:5 Dixerunt: «Venite, et disperdamus eos de gente, et non memoretur nomen Israel ultra!».

^83:6 Quoniam cogitaverunt unanimiter, adversum te testamentum statuerunt:

^83:7 tabernacula Idumaeorum et Ismaelitae, Moab et Agareni,

^83:8 Gebal et Ammon et Amalec, Philistaea cum habitantibus Tyrum.

^83:9 Etenim Assur sociabatur cum illis; facti sunt in adiutorium filiis Lot.

^83:10 Fac illis sicut Madian et Sisarae, sicut Iabin in torrente Cison.
