стра́шно видѣ́нiе и же́стоко повѣ́дася мнѣ́: преступа́яй преступа́етъ, и беззако́ннуяй беззако́нствуетъ: на мя́ Елами́те, и послы́ пе́рсстiи на мя́ и́дутъ: ны́нѣ воздохну́ и утѣ́шу себе́.

Сего́ ра́ди напо́лнишася чре́сла моя́ разслабле́нiя, и болѣ́зни прiя́ша мя́ а́ки ражда́ющую: непра́вдовахъ е́же не слы́шати, потща́хся е́же не ви́дѣти.

Се́рдце мое́ заблужда́етъ, и беззако́нiе погружа́етъ мя́, душа́ моя́ стои́тъ во стра́сѣ.

Угото́вите трапе́зу, яди́те, пі́йте: воста́вше, кня́зи, угото́вите щиты́,

я́ко та́ко рече́ Госпо́дь ко мнѣ́: ше́дъ поста́ви себѣ́ стра́жа, и е́же а́ще у́зриши, возвѣсти́.

И узрѣ́хъ вса́дники ко́нныя два́, вса́дника на осля́ти и вса́дника на велблю́дѣ. Послу́шай слу́шанiемъ мно́гимъ

и призови́ урі́ю на стра́жбу Госпо́дню. И рече́: стоя́хъ вы́ну де́нь, и у по́лчища а́зъ стоя́хъ всю́ но́щь,

así viene del desierto,
de la tierra horrenda.

Dura visión me ha sido mostrada:
El traidor traiciona
y el destructor destruye.
Sube, Elam;
sitia, Media.
Todo su gemido hice cesar.

Por tanto, mis espaldas
se han llenado de dolor;
angustias se apoderaron de mí,
como angustias de mujer de parto.
Me siento agobiado al oírlo
y al verlo me lleno de espanto.

Se pasma mi corazón,
